Historic Replica Windows, Reproduction Project 1
This historic replica window project involved the reproduction of a radius bay window in a circa 1800 New Hampshire home. Historic replica windows bring back the original history and charm of your home.

The initial meeting with the homeowners resulted in the consensus to remove the entire unit, which had suffered extensive water damage and decay.

Shop fabrication of the radius frame and sill, along with the five integral sashes and forty panes of glass, was completed in 5 weeks. The 5′ high by 10′ long unit was spray-painted inside and out to match the existing color and sheen.
The new enclosure would retain its original layout and curvature, with the single-pane glass being converted to true divided light insulating glass.

Historic Replica Windows Often Accompany Renovations
With the frame installed, a new roof was constructed, the clapboard was stitched back in, and the interior plaster was repaired.
